Avril Ramona Lavigne was born on September 27, 1984, in Belleville, a small city in the eastern part of the province of Ontario, Canada. The second of three children, her father, John, was a technician for Bell Canada; mother Judy was a stay-at-home mom. When Lavigne was five, the family moved to Napanee, a farming town even smaller than Belleville with a total population of only five thousand. She's a singer-songwriter, fashion designer, occasional actress, and philanthropist.

“I think he’s doing the right thing,” she told HollywoodLife.com at the Picksie 2.0 App Launch at NYC’s Lucky Strike Lanes on Nov. 22. “He seems to be working really hard and making new material. Just take care of his voice.”
Avril also revealed her tips for beating heartbreak. “Time heals everything for whatever type of heartbreak it is,” she said. “Whether you lose somebody or it’s regarding a relationship, time heals everything.”
Like Justin, Avril is Canadian, so she celebrated Thanksgiving a month ago. But on Nov. 24, she will be “performing in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade,” she gushed. “I am [excited]. I am doing the new single ‘Wish You Were Here.’”
